Doris Talks About Going To The Movies

Doris remembers watching her first movies. She said most were westerns. And in the beginning they were all silent films. When they started adding sound, she said it was deafening.

She said the horses and trains looked like they were going to run over you and she would have to hide her face.

Doris also talked about how they started making serial movies where they would end with a cliff-hanger to get you to come back the next week.
