Doris Grant Byars Remembers Swimming As A Child

Doris said her family always had a windmill for water. The kids would always beg to swim in the muddy tank. Her grandparents had a concrete tank just a little bigger than a bath tub. That is where she learned to swim – 3 strokes at a time.
